Clips Studio local-first AI clipping
Twitch VODs

Clip Twitch VODs without uploading them anywhere

Paste a twitch.tv/videos/… link. Clippy downloads the VOD, works through it on your own machine, and hands back vertical clips with captions.

Download for Windows VODs, not live streams

Chat tells you where the moments are

Twitch is the one platform that keeps its chat after the stream ends, and that is the most honest signal there is: hundreds of people reacting in real time to something that just happened.

Clips Studio reads chat replay and measures unique chatters per window rather than raw message count. That distinction matters, because a gifted-sub train or one person spamming copypasta produces a wall of messages that says nothing about the content. Counting distinct people instead means a genuine room-wide reaction registers and a single excited viewer does not.

Chat is a bonus, capped deliberately low. It nudges a moment up the list; it cannot carry a clip on its own. What was said and what the audio and video were doing still decide the score, because chat also erupts at things that do not survive out of context.

Built for how streams actually look

Long and unstructured

A six-hour stream is chunked and analysed end to end, so the good bit at hour five gets the same attention as the intro.

Sparse talking

IRL and gym streams go quiet for minutes at a time. Analysis is sized by how much was actually said, not by the clock.

Guests wander in

The crop stays locked on whoever is speaking rather than jumping to every person who walks past the camera.

What it does not do

  • Live streams are not supported, by design. Clips Studio works on finished VODs, where the whole thing can be studied before deciding what matters.
  • It does not post for you. Clips land in a folder, organised by creator and video, ready to upload wherever you like.
  • It does not need your Twitch account. There is no login and no API key.
